Hi! I'm Jen Dickey. Proud military wife , Mother, Loyal friend, and Photographer I am originally from Boerne, Tx but have lived all over the world, with the most recent adventure being on the beautiful island of Oahu in Hawaii. In 2019 we moved back to our home state of Texas where we will stay indefinitely as we are nearing the end of my husbands 20+ year career with the US Coast Guard.

I have had a deep love for photography for as long as I can remember. I took a film photography class my first year in college and I was instantly HOOKED! In a world where everything is digital, I am a bit old school when it comes to portraits..... I feel that a tangible photo that you can hold and share with loved ones is something that is so important to have, not only for mom and dad to cherish but for your children to look back on someday and see their childhood in print.

One of my favorite things to do is go through old photos when I go home to visit my parents. I truly believe that it is so important to preserve the special moments in your life. 

 

Cloud 9 Photography specializes in Maternity, Newborn and Family Photography.

 

My home studio is located in Calallen and is reserved especially for the newest South Texas residences - Sweet little Newborns! Safety is my #1 concern with your new baby so I will always be up to date on my vaccines and my studio is disinfected after each newborn session. I am constantly signing up for workshops to further educate myself on the art of newborn photography and safety so rest assured that your baby is in good hands with me. 

 

Maternity Sessions typically take place between 30-36 weeks while mama is 

still somewhat comfortable.

Newborn sessions are done in our studio typically between 8-18 days of delivery. 

​

I only book a limited number of sessions per month so please contact me to get your session scheduled asap, ESPECIALLY if you are hoping to book your Maternity or Newborn session with me because those spots fill up super fast.

Fresh 48 sessions are done in the hospital within 48 hours of delivery

OR

In home Lifestyle sessions can be done in the comfort of your home within 2 weeks of babies life.  

 

Lifestyle sessions are a great option for the busy family with other children in the home or if you have precious fur babies that you may want to include.
